This past week Underoath said they’re breaking up and in light of them, Alexisonfire and Thrice all launching farewell tours pretty shortly, I’m starting to wonder if there’s some sort of weird hitman specifically targeting bands from my high school years and if he exists I hope he takes out August Burns Red next because they’re nice guys but they’ve been out of fresh ideas for years now Anyway that got me thinking about the music that was released when I was a pre-tumblin’ teen and, in particular, the year 2006 because that was a great year for music all around. I dunno, for some reason it just really stands out in my mind So I’ve compiled a playlist of the stuff that was released that year that I personally really dug.
